The two-door coupe has a front-mid engine. The familiar 3'855 ccm turbo V8 puts out 620 hp of power and 760 newton meters of torque and has won "Engine of the Year" four years in a row. With the new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission derived from its predecessor, the SF90 Stradale, it is more compact and 6 kg lighter. Its pure, refined styling and perfect proportions cleverly conceal the car's power and sportiness. Its front, sleek and simple, creates an overhanging shark nose effect. The wide hood and curved fenders flow smoothly into one another. Air vents and superfluous ornamentation have been dispensed with in order to preserve the elegance of the car's forms. This results in a new interpretation of the radiator grille concept: cooling of the engine is ensured by surfaces that are perforated only where absolutely necessary. The rear of the Ferrari Roma is very modern: Technological developments have made it possible to reduce the dimensions of the taillights, resulting in a minimalist shape. They shine like two dazzling gems.
In the interior, a new architectural concept for volumes and shapes has been developed. The dashboard has been extended to cover the entire cabin in the dual cockpit. Thanks to a spare, modern design language that emphasizes the formal purity of lines and volumes, it gives one a sense of exceptional refinement and unique character. The passenger almost feels like a co-pilot. The complete redesign of the human-machine interface (HMI) takes a big step forward. The reason for this is the new Ferrari steering wheel, designed according to the philosophy of "eyes on the road, hands on the wheel." The digital instrument cluster is protected by an elegant instrument panel that protrudes naturally from the dashboard.
